The traffic-free historic and picturesque town centre, the numerous Italian-style buildings, the exclusive museums, the mountains, the lake and a packed calendar of events invite visitors to see the sights and soak up the atmosphere.
Lugano, the largest town in the holiday region of Ticino, is an important financial, banking, and business centre. It is also a town of parks and flowers, villas, and sacred buildings.
With its Mediterranean flair, Lugano offers all the advantages of a world-class city combined with the cachet of a small town. Read more.
